Perfect guest house in an amazing location. Michael was a wonderful host, great communication before we arrived and was so friendly and kind when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, as well as a beautiful balcony. The breakfast lived up to the standard set by the rest of the stay, such a huge selection, including home made yoghurt. everything was delicious, especially the mushrooms. The guest house is a nice walk along the coast from the V&A Waterfront so in an ideal location for any stay in Cape Town. I can’t recommend Bayflowers guest house highly enough. We will absolutely be back!

Bayflowers guest house was a beautiful place to stay whilst visiting Cape Town. Michael and Jeanne were wonderful hosts and were extremely accommodating, especially with letting me arrive early and stash my bags so that I could head out to explore the city before my official check in time. The room was comfortable and perfect for what I needed. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to really make the most of the host's hospitality. For a solo traveller, I couldn't have felt more secure and looked after. Thank you!

Fantastic guest house in a great location which is ideal for exploring the Cape. The hosts Michael and Jeanne are terrific and are extremely helpful with great local guidance. Breakfast was a real treat - most of the food is either local or home made (bread and yoghurt). Jeanne also bakes a 'treat of he day' which is always delicious. Our room (202) was excellent - large bedroom with a terrace facing the sea. The property is in a cul-de-sac and so it is very quiet. Highly Recommended

A great place to stay in Cape Town! It is on a very good location in Green Point (a good neighborhood). The host is very kind and takes the time for you about what to do in Cape Town. The breakfast is good and also the other staff was very friendly. The rooms are really comfortable: the beds are big and the shower was good as well. Also it is really quiet, so you can really sleep well. I can really recommend this place to stay over!

The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The property is clean and comfortable and had everything you needed but it didn't have the Wow factor as other properties we have stayed in. There are restaurants within walking distance and a large supermarket. Walking to the V&A waterfront was easy and took about 20 minutes. You can catch the hop on bus nearby at stop 11 or 12.
